It is a church in Old Town of Budva, next to the walls and on the west side of fortress.
After the collapse of Republic of Venice in 1797, Austria decided to construct the church considering the Orthodox population of Budva, supported by the Bishop of Montenegro. Its construction was completed in 1804.
The iconostasis of this church is the work of Greek iconographers from 19th century and has a great artistic value. In front of the church, there is tombstone of Mitrov Ljubisa who is a well-known writer and politician.
